Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Global Demand Loop℠ market-intelligence terminal and related services (the "Service"), operated by GlobalInsight ("GlobalInsight," "we," "our," or "us"), a registered DBA of Crisis Logic. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service & Data Origination

The Service presents researched "markets" and computed indices — including the Expressed Market Belief Index (EMBI℠), Belief, Opportunity, and Global Drift — derived from the GlobalInsight Analysis Engine℠, which analyzes publicly and human-expressed signals. Outputs are computed estimates of market sentiment and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The Service is a research aid to augment, not replace, human judgment. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal, medical, or other professional advice.

2. Accounts, Workspaces & Seats

• Access is provided to identified users via Google sign-in, signed SSO, or invitation to an Organization.
• An Organization holds a defined number of seats and workspaces. Each seat is for a single, named individual.
• Account sharing is strictly prohibited. You may not share credentials, allow multiple individuals to use one seat, or circumvent seat or workspace limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do so.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Client-Confined Data Use

Data, insights, reports, and outputs made available within a customer workspace are licensed solely for the internal business use of that specific client (the Organization to which the workspace belongs). You may not disclose, resell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise make such data available to any third party, or use it for the benefit of any entity other than the client for whom it was provisioned, without our prior written consent.

4. Subscription, Billing & Seats

• The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Fees, seat counts, workspace allowances, and billing cadence are set out in your order or plan.
• Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically for successive terms until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Additional seats or workspaces purchased mid-term may be billed on a prorated basis. We may change pricing on renewal with reasonable notice.
• Late or failed payment may result in suspension of access.

5. Acceptable Use & Restrictions

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, models, methodologies, scoring, or underlying data structures of the Service;
• Scrape, crawl, bulk-export, or systematically extract data except through features we expressly provide;
• Resell, rent, time-share, or operate the Service as a service bureau for third parties;
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, tenancy boundaries, or security measures;
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to train competing models;
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, or violate the rights of others.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, indices, scoring methodologies, design, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by GlobalInsight / Crisis Logic and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service per these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. AI Outputs

The Service uses artificial intelligence and automated processing. AI Outputs may contain errors, omissions, bias, or "hallucinations" and must be independently verified before reliance. Your use of AI features is also governed by our AI Ethics & Safety policies, incorporated by reference.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBALINSIGHT AND CRISIS LOGIC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, including account sharing, reverse engineering, non-payment, or harmful use. You may stop using the Service at any time; certain provisions survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts located in Virginia will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes & Contact
